The Polish Chamber of Shoe and Leather Industry (PIPS) is an industry organisation associating numerous entrepreneurs connected with the leather industry. The membership allows for extended possibilities of action, ‘there’s strength in numbers’. The industry-dedicated organisation guarantees collective problem-solving opportunities – if only in the area of HR recruitment; it also facilitates application for diverse forms of subsidising for realisation of goals common for the entire industry; it is also more effective in reaching both the authorities and the media. Participation in the PIPS gives each member an awareness that there is a forum for exchange of experience, associating parties that identify with the sector.
