Innovating Footwear Design Based on Biomechanical and Physiological Parameters

Implementation period: 1 December 2012 – 30 November 2014
The project, carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Leather Industry and Thomas More University from Belgium, resulted in streamlining the manufacturing technology, increasing the material base, and significantly improving the quality of manufactured footwear, especially the special-needs footwear, e.g. for sensitive or diabetic foot. The FOOTyWEAR project enabled small and medium sized enterprises to make use of and apply the results it produced in their own manufacturing and technological processes.
